Sound insulation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sound insulation refers to the ability of certain materials to inhibit sound. Quantities for this are sound insulation value and sound reduction index, given in dB. These quantities play an important role in the construction of Interpretation booths<\/a> and Speaker booths<\/a> a major role.<\/div><\/div>

Here, the interpreters\/facilitators in the booths should be acoustically cut off from the outside world as much as possible in order to be able to concentrate on their work.
Conversely, conference participants in the vicinity should not be disturbed by the interpreters in the booths.

Examples of the sound reduction index for illustration:<\/div>
