DSL umo\u017cliwia przesy\u0142anie bardzo du\u017cych ilo\u015bci danych, nawet za po\u015brednictwem konwencjonalnej miedzianej sieci kablowej, kt\u00f3ra pierwotnie by\u0142a przeznaczona dla telefonii analogowej.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Sie\u0107 kablowa jest obecnie stopniowo modernizowana do \u015bwiat\u0142owod\u00f3w, kt\u00f3re umo\u017cliwi\u0105 jeszcze wi\u0119ksz\u0105 szybko\u015b\u0107 transmisji danych.<\/p><p>Sie\u0107 \u015bwiat\u0142owodowa jest prawie zawsze sieci\u0105 hybrydow\u0105, poniewa\u017c ostatni metr od skrzynki rozdzielczej do przy\u0142\u0105cza domowego w wi\u0119kszo\u015bci przypadk\u00f3w pozostaje lini\u0105 miedzian\u0105.
