Quantum Computer
Quantum computers have been discussed theoretically for a long time. The Google Group has now presented the functioning quantum computer "Quantum Supremacy" in the fall of 2019. In a quantum computer, the binary system (bits) is no longer used, the computing unit here is the "qubit". It obeys the laws of quantum physics. For example, in miniature circuits in which current flows without electrical resistance. In a sense, binary combinations can be represented here simultaneously, where a conventional computer processes them one after the other – You can find many technical articles on the Internet that try to explain this. For a quantum computer, only a few computational tasks are known today that can already be applied in a usable way. Whether quantum computers will ever be able to show their strength is also still uncertain. They do, however, have the potential to "handily" override encryption; so we can be sure that research is continuing at full speed.
