Discussion systems are more than table microphones
In large meetings or conferences, discussion systems ensure optimal comprehensibility. Two variants exist for this purpose: Wireless systems guarantee maximum flexibility and time savings when setting up and dismantling the equipment. Wired systems, on the other hand, function fail-safely in areas with high radio traffic (WLAN).
With most systems, interpreting channels can be listened to directly at the microphone unit via headphones, so that the additional use of additional conference receivers is no longer necessary.
With different software solutions, it is also possible to record conferences – including the administration and automated logging of participants and their requests to speak -, to carry out voting or to control microphone units from the control room.
Video conferencing
During video conferences, maximum speech intelligibility can be achieved by means of microphone units. Through a classic N-1 routing, the integration of the conference system into the video conferencing system takes place without disturbing echo.
The conferencing systems can also provide automated DOME camera control. This is always directed at the activated microphone unit, so that your counterpart receives the image of the speaker – in seconds and without the help of a cameraman.
Podium and press conferences
Talking points are best suited for use on the podium and at press conferences. All speakers can switch their microphone on and off themselves if required. The desired interpreting channel can be listened to via a headphone output.
Courtroom
In the courtroom, discussion systems are a practical solution: judges, the defense, the prosecution and the witness stand can easily be supplied with microphones. Interpreters can also be connected here for certain model presentations. Recording for the minutes is easy to realize in an automated way.
Interpretation solution
The transfer of multiple languages is easily possible directly from Interpretation booths to the tabletop microphone units. Participants can use language selectors to choose which voice channel they want to listen to via headphones. For this application, two participants can also share one microphone unit. Two different languages can be listened to simultaneously via two separate headphone outputs on the microphone unit.
