Radio interpreting equipment
In addition to classic infrared transmission technology, radio interpreting systems offer an optimal alternative for supplying up to several hundred participants with interpreted sound. The advantages of radio are obvious: quick set-up, discreet appearance and flexible use.
The details in detail: The system is quickly installed, as in most cases it is sufficient to set up a radio transmitter at the sound control room. Since handheld and neckband microphones are also available for this system, it can be used flexibly both in the conference room and, with the same receivers, as a personal tour system for plant tours or city tours.
About the technology: The Beyerdynamic brand devices used work with the latest high-frequency technology. The transmission from the radio transmitter to the receivers takes place on a UHF band not affected by the digital dividend (frequency range 863-865 MHz). Multi-channel operation with up to 18 frequencies is possible. With a charging time of about one hour, the system is ready for rapid reuse. A wide range of accessories allows the system to be perfectly adapted to your needs.

[column size="3-5″ last="1″]
The RP8 bodypack receiver is used as a personal guidance system or for conferences with multilingual simultaneous translation. A headphone or an induction loop for people with hearing aids can be connected to the mini-jack connector, so that the device can also be used to support accessibility. An OLED display shows the channel, battery status and frequency. The receiver can be worn with either the removable belt clip or a neck cord. The RP8 is powered by two NiMH rechargeable batteries or standard 1.5 V AA batteries. The rechargeable batteries do not have to be removed from the unit for charging and are protected from overcharging by intelligent charging technology. The charging electronics also detect whether rechargeable batteries or batteries are inserted, so that incorrect operation can be ruled out.
