Shure MXW NEXT 2 is an all-in-one audio solution for hybrid classrooms, training rooms and lecture halls that also provides excellent audio quality for conferences and presentations. Despite its extensive features, the MXW neXt system can be set up in just a few minutes.
The system consists of four components: a state-of-the-art wireless microphone system, an intelligent charging station, an advanced digital signal processor and a full-featured audio interface.
Choose between bodypack transmitters for hands-free presentations, handheld transmitters for Q&A sessions or boundary microphones for unobtrusive microphone placement on the table.
Simply
A base unit combines an access point transceiver, a charger and an IntelliMix® DSP. The integrated design and automatic frequency management enable setup in just a few minutes, whether as a standalone device or in a network. Comprehensive audio inputs and outputs also support direct connection to conference systems.
Reliable
The new handheld, bodypack and boundary microphones have a longer battery life of up to 28 hours for all-day use. The transmitters also feature a new matrix display that shows important information such as the assigned room, range, remaining battery life and more.
Cost-effective
The base station is currently available on the market for around €1,300 net RRP (plus VAT) (as of Feb 2024).
Excellent audio quality for remote and hybrid
The integrated IntelliMix® DSP uses automix technology, acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control and an EQ to ensure an unadulterated audio mix and reduce distracting ambient noise. An automatic spectrum scan is carried out during commissioning to ensure the best possible audio quality.
With a single button, you can choose between pre-configured presentation, conference and direct modes so that participants can hear everything they need to hear on site or remotely. Analog, Dante and USB-C interfaces allow easy connection to a computer, sound system and video conferencing codec.
To adapt to the requirements of different rooms, audio can be routed to remotely connected participants, the room loudspeakers or both, so that everyone can hear optimally.

The MXW1X bodypack transmitter leaves your hands free to write, gesticulate or give demonstrations. It features an input jack for connecting a lavalier or headset microphone and an integrated omnidirectional microphone for recording speech while wearing the bodypack transmitter on a lanyard or in a shirt pocket. The transmitter has an operating time of up to 17 hours with the supplied SB906 lithium battery and is quickly recharged.

The rechargeable handheld transmitters are ideal for anyone who prefers to hold a microphone in their hand or hand it over for questions and answers.

The transmitter works for up to 25 hours with the supplied SB908 lithium battery and is quickly recharged.
