Public address systems
Sound reinforcement is realized with very different systems. Depending on the type of performance, the sound system can vary in its components and their arrangement. In the case of a recording, only an electrical sound source with a sound carrier, e.g. CD or audio cassette, is connected to an amplifier. The amplified sound signal is then made audible in the room through loudspeakers.
If live events take place, additional microphones are needed to convert acoustic signals into electrical ones, which are then amplified. Depending on the size and condition of the room, different Loudspeaker and Microphones Usage. The electrical sound signals present can be recorded with recording devices. In order to avoid feedback, a frequently occurring sound reinforcement problem, increased demands are placed on the configuration and operation of sound reinforcement systems.
