Inductive receiver
The inductive receiver is the part of the Inductive systemwhich enables the reception of electromagnetic waves in the conference room and converts them into acoustic signals by means of an earphone.
Each conference participant has a handy receiver with headphones at his disposal and can select the channel on which the interpreting is done into his native language. It is also possible to adjust the volume.
However, the transmission of interpreted channels with inductive systems is outdated and is no longer used. More modern are infrared systems or radio technology.
