Interpreter for film and video
If a film or video is to be shown at an event, this will only be interpreted if the interpreters have seen the film in advance and can confirm that interpretation is possible.
The reason for this is that films and videos usually convey a lot of information in a bundle. The texts are usually polished and well thought out, and the pace of the speakers is high.
The interpreters must therefore be given the opportunity to prepare for these film or video contributions. In any case, the script of the film should be available to – in time, i.e. at least one to two weeks beforehand, a copy of the film is also helpful.
