Review of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2022
Published: 19.05.2022
ISE 2022 was a great show and left us with many positive and lasting impressions.
ISE was all about high-resolution displays, virtual studio setups and for us, of course, modern conference technology and meeting solutions.
The Bosch company advertises its conference technology with "The Power of Communication”. We also hope that Bosch will put more energy into the further development of interpreting technology in the future. We would have a need.
The company Cabolo offers a box (here connected with wireless microphone units from Bosch), with which it is possible to transcribe conferences in real time and translate them in writing. The highlight: the whole thing works offline. This can be a good solution for sensitive content and conferences with high security requirements.
We cannot objectively evaluate the quality and performance of the translation after the short test, but we will be sent a demo.
Avonic shows their super high resolution PTZ conference cameras. A tip: Avonic is one of the few manufacturers that can continue to supply its dome cameras via PCS at short notice despite the current shortage of chips and electronic components!
The LED walls are becoming more and more flexible in shape and design, can reproduce curves better and better. Thanks to the constantly decreasing LED! The manufacturers are now getting down to less than 1 mm, we saw up to 0.63 mm on site, and the trend is continuing to get smaller. In order to still recognize individual pixels here, you have to get very close or use a magnifying glass.
Lang AG as a premium partner in terms of video also impressed us with the sharpness and contrast of their displays. And that at this size!
The wireless discussion system from Televic "TELEVIC CONFERENCE Wireless” inspires us totally! Functionality, flexibility, look, feel, software – there is simply everything right up to the connectivity through DANTE.
With the Interpreter Desk, Televic also has a highly professional interpreting desk in its portfolio, which we will certainly see more often in the near future. It is good to have a strong alternative to Shure's Lingua Interpreter Desk here, which we and interpreters liked equally well, but unfortunately is no longer being developed.
Speaking of Shure: Shure had a lot to offer, which we naturally didn't want to miss at the booth. We had good and productive discussions with our contacts Tim Klatte and Andreas Zenker.
After the long break, ISE was again very busy. Like here at the booth of Samsung, who impressed us with their high-resolution displays. By the way, the Samsung Wall was extremely high-resolution – with spectacular 0.63 millimeter LED and that in 3D: simply top!
With the TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker, Sennheiser has a professional audio solution for video conferencing on offer. The smart speaker/microphone combination is adapted for use with Microsoft Teams and helps to implement and transcribe (!) hybrid meetings with up to 10 people.
Virtual studios that look as authentic as if you were really there. We saw some great concepts, and even if we didn't make it in real, we were still briefly in the "forest” and on the virtual ISE beach.
After the game is before the game: we are already looking forward to next year, the date for ISE 2023 is already fixed.
