Simultaneous
This "simultaneous" form of interpreting has only existed since the Nuremberg Trials after World War II. During an event with two or more working languages, the interpreters work in pairs or threes from a soundproof Interpreter booth out.
Example: Large trade congress with up to several hundred participants or lively seminar
Advantages: very dynamic, ideal interpreting conditions, no restrictions for listeners and speakers
Disadvantages: This perfect communication comes at a price (interpreter fees + rental price for an interpreting system).
