Shure Interpretation Console
Published: 08.02.2017
The Shure company has introduced a new interpretation console called "Shure Interpretation Console" at this year's ISE 2017 show in Amsterdam.
The interpreter console is one of the first to follow the new ISO standard 20109 for interpreting technology. The console is compatible with the Shure DCS 6000 Digital Conference System. The large control panel and practical features of the Interpretation Console make it particularly convenient for interpreters to work. All necessary information, such as language channels, the names of the participants or the agenda, is shown on the large display. Personal settings can be saved on a USB stick and easily recalled the next time the interpreter works on an identical console.
Another highlight of the console is the Electronic Name Sign. Here, information (name, function, picture) about participants and speakers is automatically shown on the display of the interpreting console.
The Shure Interpretation Console can be used in conjunction with a DCS 6000 Conference System, with a DIS Central Unit, or completely stand-alone in conjunction with various Shure microphone series.
