Wired discussion systems

In the classic version of discussion systems, the delegate microphone units are connected to each other using single-cable technology. On the one hand, the delegate microphone units use gooseneck microphones for speech, and on the other hand, depending on the type of system, up to 16 foreign languages are transmitted simultaneously, which the participant can call up with the aid of a headset.

In mobile operation, this system is primarily suitable for discussion rounds with up to approx. 60 participants, then the effort for cabling becomes greater and one can switch to a wireless discussion system. In fixed operation and/or fixed wiring, on the other hand, the number of participants and thus the number of microphone units is almost unlimited. A distinction is made here between desktop stations and built-in stations. The latter are thus permanently embedded in the conference table.

We offer microphone units from Beyerdynamic, Bosch, Sennheiser, Shure and Televic.

What is Shure Intellimix DSP?

Shure MXA 920 IntelliMix

Shure Intellimix DSP enables superior audio quality during your meetings or conferences. Intellimix automatically adjusts the volume of the microphones and suppresses noise, feedback and echoes through an intelligent algorithm.

Steerable Coverage™ technology automatically aligns the pickup area of the microphones to the position of the participants. The system also detects when a speaker turns their head or leans back. There is also a parametric EQ per channel to equalize the signal path and optimize the sound.
