The RP8 bodypack receiver is used as a personal guidance system or for conferences with multilingual simultaneous translation. A headphone or an induction loop for people with hearing aids can be connected to the mini-jack connector, so that the device can also be used to support accessibility.

Radio pocket receiver – Synexis RP8
An OLED display shows the channel, battery status and frequency. The receiver can be worn either with the removable belt clip or a neck cord. The RP8 is powered by two NiMH rechargeable batteries or standard 1.5 V AA batteries. The rechargeable batteries do not need to be removed from the unit for charging and are protected from overcharging by intelligent charging technology. The charging electronics also detect whether rechargeable batteries or batteries are inserted, so that incorrect operation can be ruled out.

The TH8 is a microphone and radio transmitter in one. It is suitable for use in conjunction with the RP8 radio receiver as a tour guide system, as a whispered interpreting system in small rounds, or as hearing amplification in rounds with participants with limited hearing.

Handheld transmitter – Synexis TH8
The transmitter transmits over a range of up to 100 m when eye contact is made. The cardioid characteristic effectively suppresses background noise. An OLED display shows channel, battery status and frequency. The microphone is powered by two AA NiMH rechargeable batteries or conventional 1.5V AA batteries. The transmitter can be worn around the neck with an optional neck strap.
