Comprehensibility is the basis
European works councils have many challenges in which we provide active support: Organization of cross-border work, language, information and consultation, intercultural issues, co-determination. We assume that European Works Councils will become more and more important in the future. As specialists in multilingual and barrier-free communication, we are happy to cooperate in this development.
In our view, professional audiovisual equipment is the important basis for every successful EWC meeting:
- The language barriers must not be increased by poor speech qualities. Good miking and excellent reproduction of the spoken word are essential.
- Multilingualism must be promoted. Today, the use of interpreters can be well supported from the Interpreting studios take place. The works council meets in person. The interpreters travel to the nearest interpreting studio. This can save costs but maintain quality.
- Translations, recordings and protocols can be automated. We recommend quality control, proofreading and adaptation by an experienced human, whom we can provide.
Digital or in person?
Love goes through the stomach
A competence we have acquired over decades: Take catering seriously, shape it, use it. This is especially true for the EWC meeting. Which countries and regions do the participants come from? What is healthy, wholesome and sustainable there. Use the connecting element consciously and actively.
Hospitality, attention and international cuisine also goes hybrid and digital. Perhaps not everywhere as easily as in our Interpreting Hub and office in Berlin Kreuzberg, with excellent cuisine from all corners of the world. Do you know our Market Hall Nine? If not, quickly find a reason to visit us in Berlin and let yourself be seduced and inspired by the international and European flair here.
